Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan denies Maritzburg United link – Ghana Sports Online

Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has denied reports linking him to South African side Maritzburg United.

Maritzburg United were said to have earmarked the Ghana international as a replacement from countryman Richard Ofori who is said to be on his way out of the Club. ‘

Ofori is believed to be on his way to Kaizer Chiefs after they showed great interest in the Black Stars goalkeeper.

With Maritzburg United already on the hunt for a new goalkeeper, Annan’s name popped up as a replacement for the Ghana number 1.

Annan who has now lost his place to Kwame Baah at Kotoko was said to have held contacts with the PSL side, a claim the former Ghana U20 gloves-man has denied.

“I saw the news this morning on my phone but me personally, I haven’t had discussions with the club,” he told KickOff.com in South Africa.

“For now I have a contract with Asante Kotoko. I have had contract.”

The 26-year-old recently signed a contract extension with the Ghanaian giants.
