Kumasi Asante Kotoko have moved to the summit of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) table after beating Berekum Chelsea 2-0 at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium on Sunday in the matchday 19 clash.
Francis Andy Kumi scored the opener for the Porcupine Warriors 26-minutes into the game before Godfred Asiamah scored on the 90th minute to round it up.
However, Bright Amponsah scooped an effort from the spot over the bar and failed to fetch Chelsea the equalizer before second came at the death.
Kotoko are now top of the league with 34 points after 19 games as Great Olympics lost 2-0 to Legon Cities, while Karela United also lost 2-0 to bottom side, Inter Allies.
Olympics are second with 33 points and Karela third with 32 points.
